The Leads Database
Up 1 Project Overview 2 Tables 3 Forms 4 Reports 5 Queries

lesson 1: Project overview

Before you create, you must plan. In this lesson, you'll plan your database and parallel your planning with a description of the four basic parts of Access.

lesson 2: Build the tables -- the basic Access building block

Now that you have your list of fields (or pieces of data), you'll lay them out in a table and get more specific.

lesson 3: Build a form

Using AutoForm to create a form automatically for you to enter data, you'll then go back into the design mode to move items around into a layout that works best.

lesson 4: Create a report

You'll first create a report, directly from the table, and then look at the design mode of the Report, similar to Form Design mode and the look at the data it's pulling from the table, so that you can edit it using a Query.

lesson 5: Create a query

Note: this course was inspired by an Access tutorial offered free on the Internet by the HP Learning Center at http://h30187.www3.hp.com/ .
